Enforcement

The Bureau of Coastal and Land Use Compliance and Enforcement has a variety of responsibilities, including evaluation of on-going and completed projects that have received authorization by the Division of Land Use Regulation. The Bureau also responds to complaints raised by public or private entities regarding a particular property or activity. The Bureau is also authorized to levy monetary penalties that can be substantial in nature.
