PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:


Educational programs are available for residents in areas where black bears are present. The program includes background and natural history of the state's black bears, research information, and tips on avoiding problems and negative interactions with bears.

PUBLICATIONS AVAILABLE:

Brochures containing information on black bears and ways to help avoid problems with bears are available at no cost. The brochure is entitled “Be Bear Aware" is available in large quantities.
