PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:

The Bureau of Industrial Remediation is responsible for overseeing the investigation and remediation of discharges at industrial establishments which are regulated pursuant to the Industrial Site Recovery Act (N.J.S.A. 13:1K).

To respond to these challenges, it is the mission of this bureau to provide consistent, cost-effective and efficient levels of oversight, resulting in remedial decisions protective of human health and the environment, utilizing the state's appropriate site remediation rules and regulations.
