PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:

This bureau is responsible for reviewing permit applications and issuing permits for solid waste transfer stations and Class B (concrete, asphalt, brick, block, wood, etc.) and Class C (compostable yard trimmings) recycling centers. The bureau will arrange a pre-application meeting upon request with officials and their consultants to discuss application requirements and the permitting process.

PERMITTING RESPONSIBILITIES:

The bureau conducts an administrative and technical review of the applications for solid waste transfer stations, Class B recycling centers and Class C recycling centers prior to issuance of permits
