Welcome to the Land Use Management web site. Land Use Management is a group of diverse programs that protect and enhance New Jersey's environment through implementation of State land use regulations, regional land use planning, water quality management planning, coastal resource management and funding of watershed restoration plans and projects that result in improvements to the quality of the State's surface waters. Land Use Management strives to balance responsible land development and protection of New Jersey's valuable natural resources.
Land Use Management is comprised of the Division of Land Use Regulation, the Division of Coastal & Land Use Planning, and the Division of Policy Implementation and Watershed Restoration.
