Treasure Our Trees License PlatePurchase the "Treasure Our Trees" License Plate And Beautify Your Hometown.

Funding the planting and care of these natural treasures will improve wildlife habitat, reduce energy costs, improve water and air quality and increase community pride. The one time $50 fee and $10 annual renewal are tax-deductible.

How to Purchase the TREASURE OUR TREES license plate.

  • The plate can be issued any time during the registration cycle to owned or leased passenger vehicles and non-commercial small trucks and vans registered at Code 15 (passenger at commercial fee).
  • The one time cost of plates is $50, with an annual renewal fee of $10, in addition to your regular registration renewal fee.
  • Plates may be purchased, when available, at any Motor Vehicle Agency by presenting your current registration certificate and completing a BA-49 form, or plates may be purchased through the mail from our Special Plate Unit. Call our toll-free number for information: 1-888-486-3339.
  • You may also renew your registration (if it is expiring) when you order plates through the mail. Simply "X" the Renewal Block and Replacement Plates Block on the BA-49 form and include the renewal fee with the plate fee.
  • If you have ordered specialty plates through the mail and you receive a registration renewal application during this period, please renew as usual, since we can't issue replacement plates on an expired registration.
  • Your present courtesy or personalized plate may be reproduced on a specialty plate for $61, but spaces are limited to Five characters.
  • Personalized specialty plates are now available for an additional $50, but spaces are limited to five characters.

IMPORTANT: BE SURE TO PRINT WHICH SPECIALTY PLATE (SHADE TREE) YOU WANT ON ALL APPLICATIONS.
