In 2014 the SPIRIT of the JERSEYS State History Fair will be celebrating a major milestone—its 10th anniversary!  Additionally, New Jersey will be celebrating its 350th .  As part of the observance of these two important anniversaries, the Fair will be featuring a Crafter’s and Author’s MarketPlace.  We are eagerly seeking craft artisans and historical-subject book authors to join us!

Artisans’ work must be original and traditional or representative of a historical period (primarily 17th to some early 20th century). Work may include historical reproductions or items based on historical design and techniques. Categories include, but are not limited to:

Metal
Glass
Jewelry
Paper
Wood
Pottery
Fiber Arts & Leather
Toys, Games & Dolls
Mixed Media

Authors’ books/booklets  should have a subject/theme related to something or someone from New Jersey history.  Books are categorized under Mixed Media (see Category Descriptions).

If you are a craft artisan or a book author interested in participating in the SPIRIT of the JERSEYS State History Fair to be held Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Washington Crossing State Park, Titusville, NJ. Please read the Artisan Application Category Descriptions and Craft Vendor Criteria & Restrictions links listed below before completing the application.  There is a $25.00 fee to participate, but all profits from sales the day of the Fair will be the vendor’s.
