From the Garden State Parkway northbound or Route 4:
1. Garden State Parkway northbound to exit 161/Route 4 east
2. Follow signs for Route 4 east
3. Follow Route 4 east approximately 2 miles to Hackensack Avenue
4. Take second Hackensack Avenue exit for Hackensack Avenue/ River Edge
5. Take right hand exit just before third traffic light – signs say Main Street and Historic New Bridge Landing
6. Turn right onto Main Street
7. Pass two historic houses, Steuben House parking area is at end of street

From the Garden State Parkway southbound or Route 17:
1. Garden State Parkway southbound to exit 163/Route 17 south
2. Follow Route 17 south to Route 4 east
3. Follow directions above from Route 4 east

The Steuben House is open year round to the public for viewing.
