| This form(PDF) is used to request a search of the Natural Heritage
Database for records of rare or endangered species and natural
communities on or near a project site. The Natural Heritage
Program provides the information in order to assist the requestor
in preserving habitat for rare and endangered species and natural
communities.
To initiate a search, please provide:
- A letter explaining the project;
- A copy of a USGS quad
map(s) delineating the bounds of the project site;
- A completed data request form(PDF).
