Message to PWTA Laboratories from the Supervisor of the PWTA Program

The PWTA Program's Rules (i.e., N.J.A.C. 7:9E), including the amendments to provide Arsenic test results in Warren and Sussex Counties, will become effective March 14, 2008. the forthcoming adoption of new PWTA Program Rules will required the use of a new Excel spreadsheet for electronically submitting PWTA data.

To accommodate the submittal of arsenic test results in Warren and Sussex Counties, the Department has created a new version of the E2 PWTA Excel Spreadsheet (Version 3.6) for electronic data submittals. Click here to download Version 3.6 of the E2 PWTA Excel Spreadsheet (Excel Format). Beginning February 26, 2008, Version 3.6 will be required to be used by all laboratories for every PWTA data submittal. Until March 14, 2008, it will be necessary for your laboratory to modify the spreadsheet by deleting the Arsenic row of data from page 3 of the spreadsheet for Warren and Sussex Counties. All PWTA samples collected in Warren and Sussex Counties on March 14, 2008 or later will be required to be tested for arsenic, and those results must be included in the PWTA submittal.

One additional change to the Version 3.6 is the replacement of Washington Township, Mercer County with Robbinsville Township. The Township name was officially changed to Robbinsville Township in November 2007, and it is included in the Municipality pull-down menu of the spreadsheet.
