Listing of Certified Physicists and Qualified Individuals
The Bureau of Radiological Health maintains lists of individuals or companies that have demonstrated that they possess the necessary
education and/or experience to perform various medical and/or industrial radiation physics services. Please review the following scenarios to obtain a list of qualified individuals or companies that meet your specific needs.
- If you have x-ray equipment used for chiropractic, dental, diagnostic medical, podiatric, therapy simulation or veterinary purposes and need to obtain a Radiation Structural Shielding and Radiation Safety Survey, see link below.
- If you have x-ray equipment used for non-medical purposes such as industrial, baggage/mail scanning, cabinet units, bomb detection, analytical units and particle accelerators and need to obtain a Radiation Structural Shielding and/or Radiation Safety Survey, see link below.
- If you have radiographic or flouroscopic x-ray equipment and need to obtain a Medical Physicist Radiographic and/or Fluoroscopic Quality Control (QC) Survey or need help in setting up a quality assurance program as per N.J.A.C. 7:28-22, see link below.
- If you have Computed Tomography x-ray equipment and need to obtain a Medical Physicist Computed Tomography Quality Control (QC) Survey or need help in setting up a quality assurance program as per N.J.A.C. 7:28-22, see link below.
- If you have mammography/stereotactic or needle localization x-ray equipment and need to obtain a Quality Control (QC) Survey as per N.J.A.C. 7:28-15.4, see link below.
- If you have radiation therapy simulator x-ray equipment and need to implement a Radiation Therapy Simulator Quality Assurance Program as per N.J.A.C. 7:28-15.6, see link below.
