2003 Science Teacher Workshops

Two workshops on radioactivity for New Jersey middle school science teachers were held during the summer of 2003.  The July 14-17, 2003 session was at the Bridgewater-Raritan High School in Bridgewater, NJ (Bridgewater workshop pictures); the session included a tour of the Aventis US research facilities in Bridgewater, NJ.  The July 28-31, 2002 session was at the Carl Sandberg School in Matawan, NJ (Matawan workshop pictures); this session included a tour of the Rutgers University Radiation Safety Department in Piscataway, NJ.  We are grateful to the three educational institutions and the pharmaceutical facilitity for hosting these workshops on radioactivity.
