The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection
(DEP) has adopted radon testing guidelines for public schools
described in:

The DEP and the Department of Education (DOE)
jointly developed information about school testing and its requirements
for school administrators, teachers, and parents which is provided
in the following documents. For a list of the latest updates
of all school-related documents, to ensure that you have the

The DEP worked collaboratively with several
other agencies involved in school construction and administration
to develop the administrative guidelines for schools and contractors
