Care of Patients with Suspected or Confirmed Ebola by
Students Enrolled in Radiologic Technology Programs

The Board recommends to all educational programs under its jurisdiction that they not permit students to be involved in the care of patients with suspected or confirmed Ebola. The Board makes this recommendation because students have not completed the educational program in radiologic technology; and, because there are adequate numbers of licensed radiologic technologists to assist in such care.
