The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection recognized the Trust for Public Land's commitment to protect natural lands, wildlife habitat and recreational land in the Barnegat Bay region with a $500,000 grant, which is available to fund awards under the Barnegat Bay Environmental Grant Fund.

Proposals are being accepted for projects that benefit the Barnegat Bay and its watershed area. The projects may include, but will not be limited to, environmental education, planning, monitoring, research or land stewardship.
