With access to adjacent salt marshes, a white cedar swamp, upland forests and a freshwater pond, the Cheesequake Interpretive
Center in Middlesex County is the perfect place to analyze the interaction between humans and the Earth's natural resources.
The center features programs and displays on the Lenni-Lenape Indians, local clay deposits, the Raritan Bay and local ecology.
The center houses a small auditorium that features lectures, movies and slide shows. It is open Wednesday through Sunday
year-round, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
