The federal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has funded environmental education grants since 1992 under the National Environmental Education Act. Information on the grants program can be obtained by calling the number below or by logging onto EPA's website for the grants program. (See below)
New Jersey is part of EPA Region II. The Region II Environmental Education office is located in New York City.
Most regional grants are made for $5,000 or less and the maximum regional grant amount is $25,000. EPA Headquarters in Washington D.C. awards grants, on a national level, up to $250,000.
