New Jersey State Historic Sites Brochures

Visit the site where George Washington led his men to victory, tour an historic ironworks village, or view the original manuscripts of Walt Whitman. These brochures feature brief descriptions of specific historic sites maintained by the state, including related historical events, site addresses and phone numbers. Admission to all state historic sites is free.

Highlights

• Many sites have interpreters and volunteers who conduct programs, demonstrations and reenactments.



• The sites are open Wednesdays through Sundays and closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, all state and federal holidays, and the Wednesdays following Monday or Tuesday holidays.
