(The New Jersey Environmental Primer: Spanish Version)

The New Jersey Environmental Primer (Spanish Version) is a booklet produced by the New Jersey Commission on Environmental Education and the Interagency Work Group on Environmental Education, in partnership with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region II.

The primer can help New Jersey residents understand environmental terms that are either a high priority for government and environmental leaders or are commonly used in environmental literature and media reports. The primer explains these terms with simple definitions or descriptions. Web site links follow each term so that readers can learn more.

The primer is designed for educators, parents, environmental commission members, community leaders, college students and secondary students. It can be distributed at events, meetings and presentations, and seminars and classes, or made available at public facilities.
