The Guide to New Jersey State Parks and Forests contains a comprehensive listing of all state parks, forests, recreation areas, natural areas, marinas and historic sites. Details include areas for swimming, picnicking, fishing, hiking, canoeing, hunting, overnight stays and boating. The guide may be purchased for $2.00 at a park office or $4.00 by mail.
Highlights
The State Park Service also offers an annual state park pass - a $50.00 purchase that covers the cost of parking at state park facilities throughout the calendar year. A second family pass costs $25.00. Information about the passes is available each year in December.
The New Jersey Wildlife Viewing Guide is $10.95 (add $3.95 for postage and handling)
