Visitors to this site in Oxford, New Jersey (Warren County), have the opportunity to see one of the nation's foremost trout hatcheries. Colorful and interactive exhibits and displays make for an informative educational experience for individuals and families. A video presentation describing the fish rearing operation is also available for viewing, prior to a self-guided tour. Each month the center features diverse weekend programs, such as fishing education activities and orienteering skills. There are no fees for the programs. The hatchery and Natural Resource Education Center are open daily (except holidays), 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Facilities include picnic grounds, trails, a self-guided trail, and guided hikes that explore the hatchery's sprawling 4,000 acres.
There are wonderful displays about wildlife, as well as a butterfly garden. Also, there is a handicap-accessible fishing site.
