Recycling Manual for New Jersey Schools

This manual will guide school personnel through a step-by-step process of setting up a recycling program in the school. It provides all the necessary tools for designing and implementing a viable and comprehensive program in private, public and parochial institutions.

Highlights

  • The manual contains three sections that represent the three phases of setting up and operating a school-wide recycling program: team building and program design; implementation; and, maintenance and enhancement.

  • The manual highlights "hot tips" that are designed to make it easier to plan and implement such a program.

  • Appendices included in the manual provide worksheets, statistical information, and a list of resources.
