DEP Environmental Information:
The Public Access Center (PAC) in the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) serves as a clearinghouse for environmental information. The PAC staff answer questions, link callers with appropriate DEP programs, welcome visitors, and distribute informational materials. The PAC is located at DEP headquarters, 1st floor, 401 East State Street, PO Box 402, Trenton NJ 08625, and is open to the public 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

DEP Environmental Education Information:
The staff of the Environmental Education Program, a part of the Office of Communications, works with and promotes DEP's environmental education program for students, teachers, school administrators, environmental educators, youth leaders, parents, employers and community organizations. DEP Technical Information:
The Department's scientific and technical documents are housed in the Information Resource Center, 1st floor, 432 East State Street, PO Box 409, Trenton NJ 08625. Journals and archived publications are available for reference use only. Call ahead to schedule a visit. The center is open from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

DEP Maps and Publications Office Information:
The DEP produces a large selection of educational brochures, maps, booklets, posters, postcards and other publications. The majority of these items are available for purchase by phone/fax. The sales office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon; 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Prepayment by check or credit card is required on all orders. Make check payable to Treasurer, State of New Jersey. Prices include shipping. Credit card purchases: FAX credit card number, expiration date and signature to: 609-292-3285. Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express accepted. Over-the-counter services unavailable from May 1, 2007 until further notice.
