Quarterly Brownfield Roundtable: January 26, 2009Date Time and Location DEP Hearing Room **Note: Background The morning sessions, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon, are workshops for municipal, county, state, federal and non-profit communities only. Consultants or other private entities are only admitted at the request of one of these public communities. DEP uses this forum to learn, from our public entities, what is working and what is challenging their brownfield redevelopment efforts. The afternoon session, from 1:00 to 4:00, is a forum open to all interested in New Jersey brownfields redevelopment. A regular feature of the afternoon session is a regulatory and legislative update from representatives of the US EPA and the Office of Brownfield Resue. The afternoon sessions also include presentations on various topics relevant to brownfield remediation and reuse. This office will announce the 2009 Brownfield Development Area (BDA) application round in later this month. The submittal deadline will again be March 31. At the January Roundtable, we will discuss the BDA application process and provide guidance on how to successfully apply for the BDA designation. We try very hard to make the Roundtable agenda relevant and useful. Please let me know if there are topics you feel would be useful at future Roundtables.
