Community Relations OverviewIn support of the Site Remediation Program, the Office of Community Relations strives to provide effective two-way outreach and communication with the public including federal, state and local officials, concerned residents and the media relative to contaminated sites and related remediation issues. The OCR staff welcomes calls from citizens for information on contaminated sites in their neighborhoods. The OCR staff is assigned to specific cases within the SRWM program to provide a direct line of communication through which to get information about a site or discuss concerns regarding the remediation process. The list of assigned sites is available at www.NJ.gov/dep/srp/community/sites. If you are interested in a site that is not on the list, please call OCR for further assistance at (609) 984-3081. Please press 4 at the prompt to reach the Community Relations Coordinator that is on duty for the day.
