Subject [SRRA] New Technical Guidance Documents posted on SRRA Web site

The Department would like to announce the availability of the following technical guidance documents:

  1. Immediate Environmental Concern
  2. Fill Guidance
  3. Ecological Evaluation Guidance

These documents were developed with stakeholder input and the Department would like to thank the DEP staff and outside Stakeholders who worked on them for their considerable time and effort. The documents are available for viewing and downloading on the SRP's Guidance Library Web page at https://www.nj.gov/dep/srp/guidance/ .

Training seminars are being offered for these and other Technical Guidance documents. The next scheduled training session is for the Immediate Environmental Concern (IEC) Guidance Document on September 8, 2011 from 8:30-12:00. This session will be held in the 1st floor Public Hearing Room of the DEP offices in Trenton (401 E. State St.) and via webinar. This session will cover important changes in IEC technical and reporting requirements that were adopted into rule earlier this year.

The Department advertises upcoming training events through SRP listserv messages. Please visit SRP's training web page at https://www.nj.gov/dep/srp/srra/training/ for more information about the Licensed Site Remediation Professional Program and other training tools and opportunities.
