[SRRA]: Department Launches Off-Site Access Webpage

The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection launched a new webpage entitled "Off-Site Access."

The webpage was designed to assist the person responsible for conducting the remediation and their Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) in obtaining access to off-site locations for the purpose of evaluating potential receptors. The webpage compiles existing tools in one convenient location, including template letters for requesting access for potable well and vapor intrusion sampling, as well as template letters for reporting results of the sampling. Additional recommendations for obtaining off-site access are also included.

To access this webpage, please visit: www.nj.gov/dep/srp/offsite/. This webpage can also be accessed by visiting the Site Remediation Program home page (www.nj.gov/dep/srp/), clicking on "All Other Topics" on the left, and then selecting "Off-Site Access."

Please note that the Site Remediation Program is currently developing template access letters for the person conducting remediation and their LSRP to use when obtaining access to off-site properties to collect soil or ground water samples for the purposes of delineating contamination and conducting remediation. Once these letters are finalized, they will be posted on this webpage.
