[SRRA] Technical Guidance Training Series - Off-Site Source Ground Water Investigation

Training on the Off-Site Source Ground Water Investigation Technical Guidance document will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM (check-in at 8:30 AM) in the DEP Public Hearing Room, 401 E. State Street, Trenton.

Program Description:
The presenters will provide an overview of the new Off-Site Source Ground Water Investigation guidance document and discuss its intended use. The training will focus on the following:

  • Regulatory Basis and Administrative Requirements
  • Notification requirements including when to call DEP Hotline
  • Conducting an Off-Site Source Ground Water Investigation
  • Data Objectives and the Use of Existing Data
  • Case Studies

Presenters:

  • George Nicholas, Co-Chairperson, NJDEP, Bureau of Ground Water Pollution Abatement
  • Christina Page, Co-Chairperson, NJDEP, Bureau of Inspection and Review
  • Steve Posten, LSRP, AMEC Foster Wheeler Environment and Infrastructure, Inc.

In person attendance is limited, so registration for all attendees will be on a first come first served basis. Registration (non-DEP staff): Please register on the LSRPA website at: www.lsrpa.org

Presentation Materials:
The slides and resulting audio will be posted on the DEP training web page shortly after the presentation for future reference.

Continuing Education Credits:
The Department has applied to the SRPL Board for 2.0 regulatory continuing education credits for either in person or webinar attendance. Certificates will be made available through the LSRPA.
