[SRRA]: Administrative Guidance for Direct Oversight Public Participation Plans available

The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection announces the availability of administrative guidance regarding the development of public participation plans required for sites that are subject to direct oversight. Pursuant to the Administrative Requirements for the Remediation of Contaminated Sites (ARRCS, N.J.A.C. 7:26C-14.2(b)), these plans must be submitted to the Department for approval. The public participation plan is an opportunity for the person responsible for conducting the remediation to provide site information that is appropriate for the individual site and solicit community input from the community affected or potentially affected by the site.

This administrative guidance is available for viewing and downloading on the SRWMP's Guidance Library webpage at www.nj.gov/dep/srp/guidance/#do_ppp
