NEW JERSEY WATERSHED AMBASSADORS PROGRAM
Watershed Management Area 15
Great Egg Harbor
My name is Jennifer Wolfe and I am the 2008-2009 AmeriCorps member for the New Jersey Watershed Ambassador Program. I work in Watershed Management Area 15, the Great Egg Harbor Watershed, which includes parts of Atlantic, Cumberland, Gloucester, and Cape May counties. I work out of the Atlantic County Utilities Authority, in Pleasantville.
I graduated from Richard Stockton College with a B.S. in Environmental Studies, in May 2008. I have always been really passionate about environmental issues, especially conservation, pollution reduction, and alternative energy sources. I grew up in Gloucester County, but now I live in Atlantic County and I love the area. I love the Pinelands and I want to help protect the area. I am really looking forward to working with local communities to help protect our watershed.
I am available to make presentations to schools and community groups, in order to educate the public about how important our watershed is and how to keep it clean. In addition, I can train citizens on how to conduct visual and biological assessments of local rivers and streams.
I am a free resource in your community and I am looking forward to calls and emails. Please do not hesitate to contact me.
