NJDEP SEEKS INPUT FOR 5 NEW TOTAL PHOSPHORUS TMDLS IN WMAS 11 AND 20

DEP is seeking input from interested or affected stakeholders regarding the sources of phosphorus load in the impaired segments within WMAs 11 and 20, the methodology proposed, and any projects that have recently been completed, are underway or proposed in these segments that would assist in reducing phosphorus loads. The scheduled date for proposal of the TMDLs is the March 6, 2006 New Jersey Register; therefore, any information would need to be submitted by February 3, 2006 in order to be considered prior to proposal. Maps of the impaired segments are available for download. Any information or comments should be sent to Trish Ingelido at patricia.ingelido@dep.state.nj.us
