The Bureau of Loans and Data Management
is responsible for providing data management
support, including Geographic Information System
support, for the Division of Water Supply. In
addition, the bureau is responsible for administering
the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund Program.
The
Bureau of Loans and Data Management:
- Provides
support to the Division of Water Supply programs
for Geographic Information Systems needs.
- Provides
support to the Division of Water Supply programs
for Water Allocation, and Water Systems and
Well Permitting.
- Facilitates the Division
of Water Supply program for Safe Drinking Water
to ensure that drinking water systems meet
the requirements of the Federal and New Jersey
Safe Drinking Water Acts.
- Develops, implements,
and operates electronic data management systems
that maintain drinking water system inventory
data and monitoring analytical data used to
determine compliance with both monitoring requirements
and drinking water standards, including the
water supply portion of NJEMS, SDWIS/State,
SDWIS/FedRep, Drinking Water Watch, Private
Well Testing, and New Jersey Electronic Environmental
(E2) Reporting System.
- Administers water supply loans
and set-asides through the Drinking Water State
Revolving Fund program.
