The
Permit Administration and Coordination Section
under the Bureau of Water Allocation is responsible
for the general technical and administrative
support functions related to the Bureau of Water
Allocation.
This section manages the receipt
and issuance of regulatory documents, performs
completeness reviews to ensure regulatory requirements
are satisfied for all incoming diversion applications.
Assisting with permit compliance and enforcement
action initiatives, this section also performs
tracking, data QA/QC and reporting for regulatory
compliance. Additionally, the group prepares
regulatory documents and tracks drought activity.
Finally,
this section’s responsibilities
include the following: rule writing and development,
calculating excess diversion fees, billing, reporting,
technical analyses, interstate/ interagency coordination,
review of technical planning and research documents,
policy support, regulatory development support,
and database development support. |
