Public Water System Deficit/Surplus

The Division of Water Supply and Geoscience has created a database to manage each public water system's deficit or surplus (firm capacity and Water Allocation Permit). The database also includes information such as the public water system's available water supply limits, water demand, and firm capacity.  A glossary and links to additional information follow the water supply deficit/surplus value for the public water system.

You may access this information for a specific public water system by performing a search below. Enter the PWS Identification Number in the first field or select the county in which the system is located in the second field. You may then select the water system you want from the drop down list.

Note: Bulk Sale contractual obligations are now included in the calculation of a water system's deficit/surplus.

The Division of Water Supply and Geoscience aims to update this database monthly, but given possible interim changes, water supply decisions should not be made solely on this information (contact 609-292-2957).
