After the web site posting of the Round 3 Summary report, using the new indices, it was observed that there was a miscalculation of the "number of scraper genera" metric of the HGMI, which affected the final results in many of the sites. Only 10 sites out of 355 (2.8%) actually had a change in rating. These errors have been corrected and the revised summary results are located at the web address below. Also, no index score has been calculated for sites determined to be tidal freshwater, as current indices are not calibrated for this condition. (09/18/08)
After the previous posting of this document, it was discovered that the results for nine sites were incorrectly recorded. Four of those sites had a change in rating. Those sites that had a change in rating are: AN0495, AN0519A, AN0741, and AN0748. (11/07/08)
After the last posting of this document, it was discovered that the NJIS results used were from a previous round, not round 3. This error has been corrected. (11/21/08)
After the last posting of this document, it was observed that there was a miscalculation of the "% Filterers" metric of the PMI, which affected the final results in most of the sites. Only 45 sites out of 195 (23%) actually had a change in rating. These errors have been corrected and the revised summary results are located at the web address below. (1/13/09)
After the last posting of this document, it was observed that there was a calculation error in sites with mutliple species in the same genus. This error only affected HGMI sites and it affected the final results in most of the sites. However, only 4 sites out of 174 sites actually had a change in rating.
