Information on the state's lakes and streams and biological monitoring is provided by the Bureau of Freshwater and Biological Monitoring.

Coastal water quality information (datasets and multimedia presentations) are available at the Ocean Resources Conservation and Assessment office of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

Information on shellfish safety and shellfish sanitation programs in other states and nationwide can be found through the Interstate Shellfish Sanitation Conference.

The Interstate Certified Shellfish Shippers List (ICSSL) is published monthly for the information and use by food control officials, seafood industry and other interested persons. The shippers listed have been certified by regulatory authorities in the United States, Canada, Chile, Korea, New Zealand and Mexico under the uniform sanitation requirements of the National Shellfish Program.
