New Jersey Mandated Health Benefits Advisory Commission
N.J.S.A. 17B:27D-1 (Mandated Health Benefits Advisory Commission Act) established the MHBAC in 2004. The New Jersey Mandated Health Benefits Advisory Commission responds to requests from the State Legislature, providing an objective, independent analysis of the medical, financial and social impacts of proposed health insurance benefit mandates.

Full access to all MHBAC analyses and the legislation we examine is available below. We also announce new referrals from the Legislature and provide instructions about how interested parties can submit evidence they believe the MHBAC should consider in its analyses.
