Pre-Licensing Schools and Instructors
All Pre-Licensure Instructor, School and Additional Teaching Location licenses will expire February 28, 2023. The Real Estate Commission’s license renewal application for these licenses will be an online process expected to launch during the month of February 2023.

A printed renewal notice will be sent to all active Pre-License Instructors and Schools (using the mailing address you have on file with the NJDOBI Education Bureau licensing system). This printed notice will outline the process and give you the website (this website) of the NJDOBI Online renewal application and your PIN and Reference Number needed to login. An email will also be sent to the email address you have on file with the NJDOBI Education Bureau licensing system which will contain the same information.
During the 2023 renewal period each pre-licensure School and Instructor will be required to complete and submit an online questionnaire as a condition of their renewal. No paper questionnaires will be accepted.
If you are a pre-license Instructor and do not complete and submit your online Instructor Questionnaire OR you have not attended the required continuing education seminar, you will not be able to submit your application for renewal and your license will expire February 28th, 2023.
