Commissioner Badolato Attends Annual Financial Services Industry Summit

EDISON —Department of Banking and Insurance Commissioner Richard J. Badolato, along with members of his staff, appeared at the Annual Financial Services Industry Summit held at Middlesex County College on Thursday August 24th.  The summit, hosted by the Financial Services Talent Network, is an annual conference for financial services employers and educators who seek to create skills development partnerships that meet employers’ needs and help New Jersey residents find sustainable careers. The theme for this year’s summit was, ‘Our Financial Future: How is the industry changing?’

“With rapid technology development, regulators, employers and educators need to partner with each other through groups like the Financial Services Talent Network,” said Commissioner Badolato. “We need to work together to keep our economy growing.”

The financial services industry in New Jersey includes many of the state’s largest employers. Supporting the Annual Financial Services Industry Summit helps fulfill a key part of DOBI’s mission to promote the growth, financial stability and efficiency of the industries it regulates.
