The geographic scope (e.g. the study planning area) of the Flood Mitigation Plan includes forty-three (43) New Jersey municipalities
located in Mercer, Hunterdon, Warren and Sussex counties that are either entirely or partially located within the
Delaware River Basin and have elected to participate in the planning process.

Out of a total of sixty-four (64) municipalities that were eligible for inclusion in the plan, forty-three (43) elected
to participate in this planning initiative and met the necessary requirements for participation.
