Students and teachers studying aspects of the Delaware River Watershed are invited to share research and stewardship initiatives on local watersheds as they network and participate in educational seminars with other students and professionals during this three-day event.
Schools are each encouraged to send a team of approximately six to ten students to represent their watershed by conducting a 15-minute presentation and sharing an exhibit of their watershed research/action project.
One or more designated adults from the school district must be in attendance and responsible for students at all times during the conference.
The primary sponsor of this event is the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR), Bureau of State Parks - Delaware River Watershed Education. The Delaware River Basin Commission (DRBC) is pleased to support this very worthwhile, educational program.
