Ground Water Protected Area Data
Geographical Information System (GIS) data sets for the Southeastern Pennsylvania Ground Water Protected Area were developed by the United States Geological Survey (USGS) for the Delaware River Basin Commission to assist in the assessment of water resources (USGS Open File Report 98-571) (see location map of protected area). The GIS data sets contain the following coverages:

In addition to the above GIS coverages, access database, excel .dbf and metadata files are included in the report. See the readme.txt file for a complete description of available files. Please note that all coverages are projected in UTM, zone 18 meter NAD 27, and that ground and surface water withdrawal data is for 1996.

Each file contains a .dbf, .inf., and an .mdx file.
