Meeting of September 15-16, 2015

The Delaware River Basin Commission met on Tuesday, September 15 and Wednesday, September 16, 2015. Below is the meeting agenda, with links to the presentation given, to the dockets approved, and to the resolution passed (items are added as they become available).


The commission's public hearing was held on Tuesday, September 15, 2015. The business meeting was held the following day on Wednesday, September 16, 2015. The hearing and business meeting were open to the public and held at the Chase Center on the Riverfront's Dravo Auditorium, 815 Justison Street, Wilmington, DE 19801.

The public hearing and public dialogue session on September 15, 2015 ran from 1:30 p.m. until about 4:15 p.m. Hearing items included draft dockets for the withdrawals, discharges, and other water-related projects listed below. 

The business meeting on September 16, 2015 ran from 1:30 p.m. until approximately 2:30 p.m.

H. Resolution. (R. Gore) (Consideration of this resolution did not require a public hearing; it was approved by unanimous vote by the commissioners.)

I. Project Review Docket Applications. (D. Kovach) All dockets but numbers 1 and 27 were approved by unanimous vote by the commissioners and are all pdfs. All but number 1 were the subjects of public hearings completed on September 15, 2015. The public hearing on number 1 was postponed to allow additional time for review. On Sept. 16, the commissioners unanimously approved a motion to postpone consideration of number 27 to allow additional time for review and to extend the written public comment period until 5 p.m. on Wednesday, September 30, 2015. Note that at each of its public meetings, the commission may consider action on any item for which a hearing has been completed or may defer one or more such items for consideration at a public meeting of the commission on a future date.
