Questions and Concerns
You may choose to paddle the entire sojourn or you may register for the day(s) of your choice. Spaces are limited, so register early! And remember ... we paddle rain or shine!
The sojourn is a non-profit event. Contributions of time, goods and services from our many sponsors and supporters allow us to keep participant costs as low as possible. The daily fee of $35/person covers lunch, shuttles, program expenses, and camping fees. If renting a canoe, only two participants are permitted per rented or personally owned boat, except that non-paddling children under age 12 may ride as a third person in a parent's canoe without additional rental fees. The registration deadline is May 24, 2004. Registrations postmarked after May 24, 2004 are subject to an additional $20 fee/person. The last day you may cancel is June 1, 2004. Refunds will be given, minus a $25/person processing fee (by written request) if received before the June 1st deadline. No refunds will be given after June 1.
Make checks payable to D&R Greenway and please write "Sojourn 2004" in the check notation section.
Mail the completed registration form and a liability waiver for each person in your party, along with a check for the total amount due to:

You may use your own river-worthy boat or rent canoes and kayaks at a discount (canoe rentals are $6/person/day and kayak rentals are $12/person/day). Life jackets and paddles are provided with rentals. Aluminum canoes are not recommended.
Leave your vehicle at the rendezvous site each day. Shuttles will transport you and your boat to and from the put-in or take-out. Your camping gear will stay with your vehicle. We paddle rain or shine, so bring rain gear, extra sweaters, hat, sunscreen, eyeglass retainers, sunglasses, and a long sleeve shirt. Wear river shoes, river sandals, or old sneakers. Bring waterproof containers for gear.
Lunch is provided each day with additional meals provided compliments of sojourn sponsors. In some cases meals will be on your own. A meal schedule will be provided upon registration. Sorry, we cannot accommodate special diets. Camping is provided at commercial and state campgrounds. All sites have toilets, drinking water, and emergency access. Some sites may not have showers.
