ENTER THE "DELAWARE: RIVER OF LIFE" CONTEST!
All contest entries should be based on the theme: Delaware: River of Life. Key features to address are human's impact on the Delaware River, and the Delaware River's impact on humans. Historical examples and a vision for the future should be included. The Delaware: River of Life contest is open to students in grades 8-12.
Writers
Write an essay based on the above theme. Essays should be typed, double-spaced,
and approximately 500 words in length.
Artists
Create a T-shirt design depicting the above theme. Please use a maximum of
two colors on white background.
Poets
Write a poem based on the above theme, using your choice of poetic form.
Poems should be no more than 32 lines in length.
