Abstract:
Camden County Technical Schools, in collaboration with Camden County College, Rutgers Camden Center for the Arts, the Camden Children’s Garden, our non public high school partners and the Teachers College/Columbia University, our evaluator, and the community of Camden County will help with the development and management of our 21st Century Learning Center program. It is our shared goal to increase student achievement by providing high quality supplemental services in the areas of academic remediation and enrichment, arts and culture, youth development, physical activities, character education and to engage parents and family members of participating students. In an effort to prepare our students for a global 21st century, all of the supplemental services and activities will include the infusion of technology with activities using the Internet and/or video conferencing activities with our partners and our program will help to prepare our students to realize the importance of living a healthy lifestyle through daily exercise, character development and proper nutrition.
