Abstract:
The Passaic City Public Schools, Quality of Life 21st CCLC Program will have four sites that will offer a variety of activities with many of the activities having research-based methods. The main activities to be offered are: academic remedial education and academic enrichment learning programs such as homework tutoring, computer and direct teaching instruction, reading and language arts education activities, and science and math education activities. The Program also offers physical activity programs, cultural and artistic enrichment activities such as music, arts and crafts, theater and dance, as well as character education and youth development components. Also, there are activities that encourage parental involvement.
