Abstract:
Plainfield Community Outreach, Inc. (PCO) is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization located at 600 Cleveland Avenue in Plainfield, New Jersey. Founded in 1995, our mission is to empower and educate Plainfield and our surrounding communities. We see ourselves as one of the rungs in the ladder to success for Plainfield-area students and their families. We aim to provide holistic programming of the highest quality that will address the many different facets of learning and development for the 330 students and families we intend to serve.
Our programs directly and effectively assist students in achieving their greatest potential in core academic subjects, creatively and positively express themselves through the performing and fine arts, attend cultural opportunities to help expand their horizons, provide community service to others, and develop decision-making techniques and positive character traits that will enable them to make positive life choices and achieve success.
Our 21st CCLC Program offers a comprehensive array of services for students and their families through our partnership with 10 local non-profits, faith-based institutions, community-based organizations, and private businesses.
