The Red Bank Middle School offers an afterschool program with many enriching and challenging opportunities that are designed to help students attain the skills necessary to meet the New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards (NJCCCS) and enhance the quality and frequency of educational afterschool services to our students. Through the 21st Century Community Learning Centers Program, the Red Bank Borough School System has established the After School Collaborative for Integrated Learning, Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Technology. Our Afterschool Program includes partnering with Stevens Institute of Technology, Count Basie Theater, Two River Theater, CYMCA, Rutgers University and DSACS, and Dance Innovations. These partnerships further reinforce and support a program marked by enrichment and recreation. Our program promotes parental involvement and family literacy, counseling programs, character education activities, Bilingual/ESL Enrichment, community service opportunities, various performing arts opportunities, cultural enrichment opportunities, recreation, and social events that extend beyond the school day. Our 21st CCLC Program ensures that our students and their families enjoy a vital, innovative and intellectually / creatively stimulating environment where the needs and talents of our community are recognized a
