Testimonials

I just wanted to let you know how appreciative my district is for the display of professionalism, expertise, and insight demonstrated and shared by the CAPA team led by Dr. Jeff Delaney and assigned to Carteret Middle School.

It was an enlightening and engaging week for the board members, administration, staff, parents and students of the Carteret Middle School community.  The work by the team and their subsequent recommendations were exact, concrete, highly professional, and  ( just as important ) helpful to the future plans of the middle school.

Plans and revisions that are already being implemented were validated, and additional blueprinting for success was recommended in a most collegial and expert manner.  I personally think that the week’s experience for the staff was an exemplary professional development opportunity that was/will be invaluable for the future success of the middle school.

On behalf of the Carteret Board of Education and this office, thank you for providing the CAPA experience and assistance to my district.

As a new principal in the building, this visit gave me the opportunity to look at various aspects of my responsibility that I would not have otherwise looked at during my first year.  It provided me with focus for the upcoming school year.

The CAPA Report included several commendations. These very positive statements validated their commitment to highlight good things that they observed during the school visitations.

We at the William C. McGinnis School in Perth Amboy appreciated the CAPA team visit to our school in April.  This visit provided our building with a candid snapshot of how effectively the building is running as well as what is needed to make it more effective. The ultimate goal of the building is boost student achievement, and this visit provides us with recommendations and suggestions as to how to make this happen.

The CAPA team diligently interviewed students, teachers and parents, observed classrooms, reviewed documentation and issued a thorough and lengthy report outlining specific steps our school could take to improve performance. We were very impressed with the professional way the whole team carried out the various aspects of the review and the helpful suggestions they made for our school’s improvement.
